Making Connections: CSEP Dinner with Industry 2023

Every summer, we host undergraduate and community college transfer students in an immersive summer research program, where they conduct independent research projects under the supervision of UCSB STEM faculty and graduate students. We also offer professional development training and networking opportunities to complement this hands-on research experience with events such as Dinner with Industry.

On Thursday, August 3rd, CSEP hosted its annual Dinner with Industry. Scholars had the opportunity to chat with industry professionals from local companies such as Raytheon Vision Systems, Teledyne FLIR, Microsoft, and The Trade Desk. The goal of the annual networking event is to build their networking skills and increase the scholars' exposure to various career paths.
