Mentor Training Series Returns!

CSEP's Mentor Training 2023 Series begins June 5, 2023. Kicking off our first workshop is Prof. David Welsh on, "Designing an Undergraduate Research Project." 

Aligning Expectations with your Mentee: Workshop #2 will be held on June 21st at 12:00 PM, we will discuss how to clarify your expectations with your mentee and begin the necessary discussions to develop positive training relationships. A panel of experienced grad student mentors will be there to answer any questions you may have about mentorship and provide helpful advice on how to improve your mentoring skills. 

In our final session to be held on July 27th at 12:00 PM, Ph.D candidate Timnit Kefela will host a discussion on empowering your mentees and improving your work environments through inclusive mentoring practices.

All sessions are expected to take place in Eling Hall #1605. Thank you to our wonderful Mentoring Fellow, Allison Chau for coordinating the series!
