CSEP @First-Gen & Transfer Scholar Welcome
The ONDAS Student Center, Transfer Student Center, and Successful Student Transitions Office are once again hosting the First-Gen & Transfer Scholars Welcome on Tuesday, September 26th from 10am-12pm at Mosher Alumni House.
The Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships (CSEP) will be present at Research Opportunities Fair in the McCune Library, alongside Chicano Studies Institute, FUERTE, Marine Science Institute, McNair Scholars Program, Undergraduate Research and Creative Studies, and Anderegg Lab (EEMB), Froehlich Lab (EEMB), Moeller Lab (EEMB), Spatial Thinking Lab (PBS), Meta Labs (PBS), and Sprague Lab (PBS). Join to learn about some of the fantastic research opportunities UCSB has to offer!
About the First-Gen and Transfer Scholar Welcome:
The ONDAS Student Center and Transfer Student Center are excited to welcome you to UCSB with resource panels, engaging workshops, a resource fair, raffles, and a community social where you can meet fellow incoming first-gen and/or transfer peers and staff/faculty mentors!
This event will take place at Mosher Alumni House, located on the corner of Mesa Road and University Plaza (Mountain Side of Campbell Hall).
RSVP'ing on Shoreline serves the purpose of reminding you of the event, as well as letting you know what time and where this event is taking place. It does not guarantee you entry to the event. The First-Gen and Transfer Scholars Welcome will have limited capacity, so it is highly recommended that you arrive by 2:45 pm. Please have your Perm Number ready to use at sign-in. If you do not have an Access Card yet, you can access your Perm Number through GOLD.
