A Look Back at the CSEP 2025 Summer Internship & Colloquium

The CSEP Colloquium celebrated the hard work and dedication of students from various programs, including EUREKA, CSEP, Quantum Foundry, NMSU PREM, and many others.

Students presented detailed findings and observations from their research in STEM labs across campus. Attendees were given a thorough look at the innovative work being done, with scholars sharing insights from their extensive research projects.

This summer, CSEP, EUREKA, Quantum Foundry, and NMSU PREM welcomed 23 new scholars. These students, some from UCSB and others visiting from universities across the U.S, conducted full-time research while also participating in a range of enriching activities. Their summer was supplemented with professional development workshops, science communication courses, guest talks, and networking events with faculty and industry professionals.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the faculty and staff who contributed to the success of our programs. Your support, along with that of the CSEP staff, is crucial to our mission of paving the way for the next generation of scientists and engineers.
