Julia Zuo receives the Dixon-Levy Service Award from the Graduate Student Association

Congratulations to Julia Zuo, PhD student in Materials Science, on being the recipient of the 2021 Dixon-Levy Service Award.  Not only has Julia built and supported graduate student community at UCSB, she has also contributed to the Center for Science and Engineering Partnership outreach efforts and most notably co-created and taught a high school short course Engineering Materials: From Magnets to Chocolate through the School for Scientific Thought program in 2020.  To read more about her campus award and service please read the full story on her in the engineering news.
